All you need is love.

Ron Paul?

I’ll admit that I’m not very educated when it comes to politics and government. But my brother, who is a huge Ron Paul supporter, got me to read his new book.

I have to say, I like it so far.

One of my best friends from High School is in Africa this summer doing amazing things. I’m so proud of her! If you find it interesting you might want to follow her journal. :)

Hey guys! Sorry that this is quite long and all at once, I just thought I’d keep a little online update for anyone interested in what’s going on over here. I love it so far, and we currently have 9 weeks left! Here’s where I began:

First leg of the journey: getting to…

Traveling:)

I just returned from Puerto Rico, where I had the amazing experience of visiting El Yunque National Forest and a few other National Historic Sites. After all my years of visiting national parks, I finally got an official National Park Passport to get stamped at all the parks I go to. The combination of National Parks and a organized planner like book where I can log my visits is almost too much for the nature nerd in me to handle. If only I had one for the rest of the parks I’ve been to. But, the stamps I have so far are as follows:

El Junque National Forest Puerto Rico

Castillo El Felipe Del Morro National Historic Site, San Juan

Castillo San Cristobal National Historic Site, San Juan

And in the next couple of weeks, I will also have these:

Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, Missouri

Arches National Park, Utah

Zion National Park, Utah

Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Needless to say, I’m excited. I leave Saturday to drive through Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona into California. Andrew and I are going to spend a day in each of these parks hiking.

I’m excited to have some great quality time on a last trip before he reaches his Air Force base.

oh hey tumblr. long time no see.

So I realized it’s been a really long time since I posted anything. So here is a little update on what’s been going on in my life for those of you I don’t talk to on a regular basis.
